Want to tell you guys how much I love listening to you and especially now since you've gotten on at 100.1 in Wichita!!!! I was able to pick you up south of Wichita before because Haysville is about 14 miles soulth of town but once I hit Wichita it was impossible, but now I have you all over and love the rock aspect of the music, the format and really think you're on the right track! Thank you for expanding your broadcasting area to Wichita! We moved here from Ponca City six years ago and we've been waiting! Of course, we could listen at home on our computer, but while driving in the car, the 89.7 station would go in and out. Brent would be telling a story in the morning and sometimes I would miss the end as I drove out of range! Brent McCoy, by the way, is the best DJ ever! We've had to listen to a lot of other Christian DJs the past six years (both local and national) and none can compare to Brent! I just moved to Oklahoma not too long ago. I just moved from Europe. It's been 10 years since I last been in the USA, due to my father's employment. I love your station so much that when I get to the office and get on my computer, I usually intend to listen to at least some of my cds, but I never seem to switch the station off. I love the House. I can't listen to any other stations anymore because I love the music. My grandmother died last month, but she loved to sing. She sang at her church and sang for us even. The last time I spoke to her before her death was five months ago. The final words she said to me was that I had the possibility of changing this world. I live in Canada and normally listen to your station online in Fredericton, NB. However, I wanted to let you know that I just got back from a mission trip to Bolivia and I listened to the station while I was there. I was helping to deliver solar-powered, fixed-tuned radios to indigenous peoples in the Andes mountains. The radios are tuned to a Christian radio station that broadcasts the good news of God's love to ALL people. I was inspired to go on the trip partly because of the impact TheHouse has had on me. My family is very thankful for the house. We have always listened to the station, but it really touched our lives when we gave birth to our daughter that was six weeks early and spent 5 weeks at childrens hospital in OKC. My husband and I were told that prayer was asked for Addison on air. We can only imagine how many prayers went out for her not only by friends and family but by the whole listening area of the house. Addison had good days and bad days. One of the worst days we experienced we really had to dig deep to find faith. That evening we turned on the house for the first time in a while and What Faith Can Do by Kutless was playing. It really reminded us to keep God in our lives. There is a general lack of Christian radio station options over the air up here in the Canadian prairies. I knew there were a number of Christian radio stations available on the Net, but it took me a while to find you guys a few years back! And what a blessing! I don't need the stations that broadcast a whole bunch of sermons and evangelistic programs. I attend church and study the Word for that! And I also want something more than just a constant stream of music . . . I can just play my extensive collection of CD's, LP's, and cassettes for that! What I was looking for (and what I find to be such a blessing about you guys compared to most of the stations out there) was a REAL radio station with radio personalities that I could share my day with that played good Christian music. Humor, personality, and good music! The winning combination that sets you guys apart in my mind! And the teaching programs that you choose to air on PraiseFM are not the hard-preaching evangelistic sermons of some of the other stations, but just good solid teaching that challenges the heart and mind! Keep up the great format and programming. Some day, I hope that my wife and I can make our way across the border and down to meet all of you . . . i have been in education 27 years and all of that in music ministry of one sort or another. as a principal of public education i have seen the morality and innonence spiraling down the tubes faster and faster with every generation of young people. The ONE constant over all of those years that has kept young people from the clutches of Satan has been Christian mentors and Christian music. Music touches the soul like nothing else. Everyone has their specific genre of Christian music. the Holy Spirit can use music to touch the heart and touch the soul. I'm thankful for this radio station. In a very low time in my christian walk when our church had split up and I had nowhere to go...my friend introduced me to MyPraise.com. When I needed encouragement, the right song would play and it was like God was speaking to me through the music. God has truly blessed me with a new church family and has linked me with some from my other church family through Facebook. Hey Guys, I'm originally from Oklahoma and it's always going to be home. For the past few years I've listened to the station since I was living there, working and going to school. Well, I got married, graduated college, took a great job...then God turned my life around and directed me to join the Army. I had never really understood why anyone would listen to the radio online but now that I'm in another state, training, away from my wife, my home, everything familiar...it's wonderful to have this station available to me. It's been such an encouragement to me and I thank God that he's given me the opportunity to listen to my favorite home station. Keep going with this, it's great. I have to start this message by saying thank you sincerely to you and all of your valued listeners. My son and daughter-in-law & small baby went to the city today to get a car, they needed badly. On the way they slipped off of the road and were unable to get out of this situation. My daughter-in-law took to trying to dig the car out with her hands, to no avail. Anyhow then a passer-by saw our HOUSE FM bumper sticker, he stopped. He was the only person to even care that they were broke down and needed help. Anyhow he told them that GOD has done so much in his life that he had to stop and help them. As I sit here now I wish to thank that man (who's name I do not know, but they were driving a white mini van) anyhow I am so thankful for your ministries not only for the safe return of my kids, and granddaughter, but because you reach so many people and do such wonderful work. If you are reading this message please say a prayer like I did thanking GOD for amazing GOD loving people who help others in need. My husband and I have listened to your station for about 5 or so years, we love it. God Bless you and God Bless your listeners. Please let your listener (the man who helped) know that he helped in also in planting a seed about how GOD works and the works of man. We only became Christians about 5 1/2 years and the kids have seen how GOD works. Today they saw it first hand, you know that is always better.
