A Future and a Hope

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭

I’ve read and heard this verse my whole life, yet I still worry about my future, my bank account, and if I’m where I’m supposed to be in life, and everything in between. I try to plan and strategize so I don’t have anything to worry about, but in the end create more things to worry about. I'm not alone in this. We all fight to have control or at least a backup plan. We just have to have it all figured out.

But here's the thing, God doesn’t expect us to have it ask figured out. He is a good God who gives us good things. Who wants us to flourish. Sometimes we just need a reminder to lay our plans at His feet and trust in the plans He has made.
