It’s hard to have happiness, let alone joy, in our world right now. Or is it?
Can you use some genuine joy in your life? A joy which can’t be quenched? A peace that can’t be taken? A happiness which can’t be threatened? There is such a joy. It comes from God and is within your reach.
Pastor Rick Warren gives his definition: “Joy is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life, the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright, and the determined choice to praise God in every situation.”
The Bible says in Nehemiah, "The joy of the Lord is your strength” So, as you start your day today, let God know that you trust Him with all the details of your day, and EVERYTHING that’s going on right now- and I mean ALL OF IT. Seek Him in prayer. Rest in His promises. And start your day by praising Him…"
