Promise Maker, Promise Keeper

My mom lives several states away. So, when we get an opportunity to talk on the phone, it makes it all the more sweeter. It hasn’t always been that way— and actually talking on the phone with her, I’m sometimes reminded of the heartbreak that’s been overcome —or at least has become more bearable.
God promises he can use our heartbreak for good. And He is a God who keeps his promises.
There may be plenty of moments you find yourself in a heap of tears, still hurting through the process. But let me be the friend who reassures you for my own places of healing… Trust the process. Trust God in the process. Trust his promises to use the process for good.
God will accomplish good even when Life doesn’t look good, or feel good. Even if we can’t see it—- my prayer is that you and I will choose to believe it.
I love this from Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, you have been called according to his purpose.”
