When I was younger, I used to love Saturday morning cartoons. In between those cartoons were “Schoolhouse Rock”, fun little songs that helped me understand math, science, and language.
Here was a song about ADVERBS.
“Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, get your adverbs here
Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, got some adverbs here
Use it with a verb, it tells us how you did
Where it happened, where you're going, where you've been
Use it with another adverb, that's the end”
I had a ‘lightbulb’ moment recently, and it’s this, God doesn’t just care about what we do, but how we do it.
Paul said, “be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
—1 Corinthians 15:58
