Early Explorers at Science Museum Oklahoma

Features come-&-go, hands-on science activities that can be easily replicated with everyday items found at home. Early Explorers is perfect for young scientists with short attention spans.

No need to preregister. Activities take place at KidSpace or the Gardens, weather permitting.

Oklahoma City Zoo Safari Lights

Go wild and fill your holiday season with the magic of light. The OKC Zoo's Safari Lights features a larger-than-life light display showcasing large wildlife-themed light sculptures viewable on a driving tour through the zoo. Feel the holiday cheer with animated light displays, festive treats, kids activities and weekend visits with Santa.

Attendees can experience the wonder from the comfort of their vehicles by purchasing Drive-Thru Admission which includes access to the drive-thru course for one vehicle and up to four walk-thru admissions.

Attendees also have the option to enjoy a separate walking experience by purchasing Walk-Thru Admission. In an expanded pathway starting in the Zoo's entry plaza and winding through the Children's Zoo, butterfly garden and along the lakeside, the walk-thru course features a musical light show produced by the Miranda Family of Edmond, interactive light exhibits, photo ops and more!

Luminance Holiday Light Display

November 18, 2022 - January 01, 2023
Opening night of Luminance: An Enchanted Stroll at Edmond's annual free, walk-thru holiday light display is 4 p.m. Monday, November 21st at Mitch Park near the baseball fields on the east side of the YMCA.

Powered by Edmond Electric, Luminance is open to the public through January 1st. The lights shine every day from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Chickasha's Festival of Lights

November 19, 2022 - December 31, 2022
Sunday -Thursday: 6pm - 10pm, Friday & Saturday: 6pm - 11pm. Festivities include an ice rink, carriage rides, ferris wheel, and a food truck park. Admission is free, extra stuff costs money

Bricktown's Canal Light

As you stroll the canal, enjoy dining and shopping under a gorgeous Christmas light display. The Bricktown Holiday Trees are by artists Nathan Hendrix and Stephen Tyler of True Façade.

Woodward's Crystal Christmas

6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. What began in 1995 as a small local light show, is now a shining event in Northwestern Oklahoma each year. Ran by a committee of local members, Crystal Christmas is put on by the community, for the community. Each year the event relies entirely on the support of donations and volunteers, and each year the event becomes bigger and brighter thanks to the unwavering support of event volunteers and donors.

Purcell's Light of The Heart

November 23, 2022 - December 31, 2022
5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Features a wonderland of Christmas holiday light displays. The two mile, drive-through light display runs along the lakeshore beginning at Chandler Road, ending at Highway 39 on the northeast side of Purcell.

The One Enid Christmas Tree Lighting

Festivities begin at 6:15 p.m.

The Joy and Magic of the Christmas returns Opening Night on November 25, 2022. This year marks the second year of "the One," a Christmas experience featuring the world's tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree, the Christ Tree, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Downs' Family Christmas Light Display

November 25, 2022 - December 31, 2022
6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The Downs Family Christmas Lights, featured on the ABC's Great Christmas Light Fight, are a holiday lights display set to music. The annual holiday light display runs from 6 p.m. to midnight every day, weather permitting, from Thanksgiving evening through the end of the year. Visitors enjoy the more than 18 miles of light displays synchronized to holiday music from the comfort of their own vehicles. Turn your radio to 107.1 to hear and see the show in action.

Canned food and monetary donations accepted for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The display is free, but visitors are encouraged to make a monetary or food donation to the Regional Food Bank.

FREE Lights in Legion Park

Features holiday lights including over 25 new light displays.

Grab your whole family and head to El Reno on Nov. 26 from 4-6 p.m. to light up Legion Park in El Reno! Get into the holiday spirit with s'mores with El Reno Fire Department, train rides, petting zoo, pony rides, carollers, hot chocolate, crafts, story time and more. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for visits and photos. This event is free and open to the public.

Christmas Tea at the Cherokee Strip Museum

Join the Cherokee Strip Museum in Perry for its annual Christmas Tea on Sunday, December 11, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. This year’s theme will be “Country Christmas with a Victorian Twist.” This event coincides with the Tour of Homes in Perry, a time when the museum opens its doors to the public. The museum, the gazebo and Rose Hill School will have festive holiday decorations to set the mood for an old-fashioned Christmas. Historical interpreters dressed in Victorian costumes and third- and fourth-grade carolers will add to the seasonal splendor. Guests can enjoy hot cider, punch and cookies. Participants will also be able to tour the Cherokee Strip Museum to explore the remarkable history of the people and events of the Cherokee Outlet.



This event is free to the general public, and the Cherokee Strip Museum gift shop will be open for a bit of holiday shopping. The Greatest Show

Two show times 9am and 11 am. Free admission. Imagine; the Creator of all things, the one who spoke into existence the sun, moon, and stars decides to become human. for just over thirty years He walked as one of us on the earth, and then died to take the place of you and me. The Greatest Show in the history of the earth. Really, who else had angels announcing their birth? Come and see for yourself if you have a new appreciation for just what took place two thousand years ago in a normal town, to two normal people who were willing to listen, be used by God, and then tackle the small challenge of raising the Creator of everything. The service will be geared towards all ages, music, dancing, and very fast paced. We will have nursery provided at the 9a and 11a services for infants and toddlers. Pre-K through Elementary kids will sit in on the production. There will be a brief "intermission" during the production, along with a quick visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus and some elves!
