Every first Saturday in May, the citizens of Prague, Oklahoma, welcome people from around the world to join them in celebrating the rich Czech culture that played a vital role in the city's founding. The Kolache Festival offers dance, song, food, crafts, a parade, carnival rides, and royalty. The festival symbolizes the warmth and fellowship of the Bohemian people. We are proud of the heritage we celebrate and invite you to this wonderful celebration.
Visit our local businesses, eat your fill of Kolaches- our famous Czech dessert, a sweet roll with fruit center-and Klobasneks, a savory finger food, and get to know our town and townspeople. Check out the Entertainment Grandstand located on Main Street at the City Park. The Arts & Crafts Show. The exciting carnival, the food booths, and the parade. Make sure you stay for the Concerts and Street Dancing starting at 7:00 pm. You won't want to miss the Chicken Dance, always a highlight of the evening.

Burger Day is one of the largest and longest running free, family-friendly community events in Canadian County. Every year we are honored to welcome thousands of people to Historic Downtown El Reno to enjoy a large variety of food, activities, vendors, live music, entertainment, and even get a bite of the World's Largest Fried Onion Burger.
As the official Birthplace of the Fried Onion Burger, El Reno hosted the first Burger Day 37 years ago as a way to celebrate Oklahoma's most iconic cuisine and it has grown into the signature event and primary fundraiser for the El Reno Main Street Program.

Join us for our 6th Annual Schatte Memorial BBQ Cookoff, in honor of Paul Schatte, on May 3rd, food will be srved from 11:30 to 1:00. This event celebrates Paul's love for great food, faith, family, and community. Come enjoy mouthwatering BBQ, live entertainment, and a friendly competition as pitmasters showcase their skills. Tasting kits are FREE! Whether you're cooking, tasting, or just enjoying the festivities, your presence will make the day even more special. All donations benefit the Schatte Grandchildren's Scholarship Fund and the First Lutheran Youth Group. See you there for good food, fun, and fellowship!

Faith, Family, Fun Day is a free community event with interactive booths where businesses showcase what they have to offer! The event will start at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. on May 3rd. Save the date and come out to join the fun! In addition to the free booths, there is a $25/person cornhole tournament that will take place in our parking lot during the event.
