Kansas Day Celebration Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum 204 S. Main St. Wichita KS 67202 It has become a tradition at the Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum to celebrate Kansas statehood with live performances in song and verse, harkening back to the cowboy years of Kansas. Gather in the Museum's DeVore Auditorium for musical groups and cameo appearances by other local performers. The annual event is made possible by museum volunteers and Friends of the Historical Museum. The program will be streamed live on the Museum's Facebook Page due to its popularity and limited seating. (Due to capacity restrictions, the program has limited seating of 60. Yukon Chocolate Festival Dale Robertson Center Yukon OK 73099 1:00PM - 3:00PM Satisfy your sweet tooth at the 13th annual Yukon Chocolate Festival - Affair Extraordinaire. The joint venture between Yukon Parks and Recreation and the Ladies Library Club will be held February 1st, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dale Robertson Center, 1200 Lakeshore Drive. The indulgent festival hosts over 20 booths, a silent auction, as well as awards for best-tasting chocolates and best booth décor! Area businesses and organizations offer their favorite chocolate delicacies to those attending. Proceeds go to benefit programs and projects by Yukon Parks and Recreation and the Ladies Library Club.
