My name is Doug Wilson.  I was born and raised in Texas.  I moved to Oklahoma in the fall of 1979 to attend college and I’ve been here ever since.

I’ve lived in the Oklahoma City area the entire time I’ve been here.

Since June of 2012 I have been married to my best friend and the love of my life, Carol.  Between us we

have four adult children and four beautiful grandkids.

I’ve been with The House since November 2023.  The majority of my adult work life was in the insurance industry.  However, I am confident that God has led me to where I am now and I am grateful to be here.

I am an avid sports fan.  I enjoy playing golf and pickleball despite the fact I’m not really that good at either one.  Carol and I enjoy spending time together, participating in activities that we enjoy.  We especially enjoy going on cruises and usually do so once a year.  We also participate in various 5K and 10K races in the metro area.  But probably our favorite activity is spending time with our grandkids and spoiling them rotten.
