Amy, from Mornings with Kevin & Amy shares one of her favorite Christmas pictures:
This is one of my very favorite Christmas PJ pictures of our kids.
The girls are blurry with Quinn tickling to get them to smile for the picture:)) ~A
Logan shares some of her favorite things about Christmas:
There's a bunch of little things I love about Christmas; attending the Christmas eve candlelight service with my family, hearing my dad try not to cry when he prays over Christmas dinner, and the insane board game battles with my siblings. We smile, eat, and enjoy each other's company as much as we can and give Jesus thanks for every single moment.
Here are some of Don's favorites during Christmas time:
"Favorite Christmas song - Little Drummer Boy by For King & Country OR Christmas Eve Sarajevo by The Trans Siberian Orchestra
Favorite Christmas tradition - other than hanging out under the mistletoe with my wife Valerie...just spending time with the Grandsons and watching their expressions to everything.
Favorite Christmas gift - my Mom married my Stepdad on December 16th when I was 8, so I got a Dad for Christmas one year!
Favorite Christmas food - my wife, Valerie, makes a very delicious Pumpkin roll. Unfortunately, she gives away a lot more of it than we keep.
Favorite Christmas movie - Elf (should I admit to that???)
Crazy to admit, but I used to not be a fan of Christmas music at all, but since the Grandsons have come along - I find myself loving it!"
DC shares his story of Christmas and some of his family traditions:
"Each Christmas our family plays the Little Drummer Boy Game. You enjoy all the Christmas music you want, but if you hear Little Drummer Boy, you lose the game. The goal is to be the last one standing in the end.
In my family, I'm the only one who likes fruit cake. So we always make a big deal out of making sure dad has enough fruit cake and that no one else touches it. (of course, they would NEVER touch the stuff.)
I proposed to my wife many years ago on Christmas Eve. I purchased a cheap metal Christmas Tree ornament from Walmart and had it engraved with "Will you marry me?" It's fun to reminisce every year as we trim the tree. We've hung that ornament for the past 30 years.
Our first year married, my wife and I were playing around as we trimmed the tree and were tossing a Santa hat back and forth. Somehow it ended up being thrown and landed perfectly on the top of the tree. Every year since then, we've always topped the tree with a Santa Hat.
When my wife and I adopted our two oldest girls, it was our first Christmas as parents. When Christmas morning came, my wife and I were more excited than the kids. So when we felt like it was time for the kids to wake up, we tried everything to get them to wake up as we pretended to still be asleep. Eventually, we set the phone in their room and kept calling it until it finally woke them up. When they came to "wake" us up, we pretended like it was too early and they should just go back to bed. Of course, they weren't having it"
Shaun Michaels loves all things Christmas, but here are some of his most favorite things:
"Going to cut down a tree at the Christmas tree farm. Also, staying up until Midnight on Christmas Eve to open presents because it was technically Christmas morning"
